This year we wanted to have a special Christmas Eve service designed for kids.  Costumes are always fun, and keeping the service short meant no one had time to lose interest or get tired.  Esther and Susan planned a re-telling of the First Nativity wheve everyone that wished could dress up and take their place in the tableau.  With no lines to learn, and the costumes already collected, it was perfect for young families (although a LOT of work for Esther and Susan!)

The highlight was when a young couple with a very young child spontaneously 'loaned' their baby to replace the doll that had been planned for the baby Jesus.  Grandma was very proud.

I'm sure you will easily figure out the various characters, and see the fun everyone had.

Special thanks to Jacky Poot for all of the pictures, and to Esther and Susan.
